Astera TitanTube RGB LED Light

With a wide 120° beam spread, the Astera TitanTube RGB LED Light is ideal for creating a soft direct light on your subject for use as an accent light or design element on location or on set. Suitable for cine, theatrical, and event productions, the wireless tube is powered by an integrated LG Chem Li-ion battery that will give you 20 hours of runtime on a three-hour charge. The light features 16 LED emitters in a 40.7″ long tube that you can mount onto a set or on a stand, hang from a grid, or even hold in your bare hand. The TitanTube has an impressive CRI/TLCI rating of 96/96 indicating high accuracy in the rendition of color. The TitanTube uses RGB, mint, and amber LEDs as well as hue, saturation, and intensity control to access millions of custom colors.

Color and control are at the heart of the TitanTube’s design. The tube has an expansive white light range of 1750 to 20,000K to seamlessly blend into any ambient light situation, or just to exercise creative expression. You can make these adjustments locally on the fixture, or remotely via several ways such as from a console with TitanTube wired to it. Wireless DMX, CRMX, and other types of units can adjust functions at distances up to 990′. There’s also an AsteraApp that lets you control the light via Bluetooth and IR control via an optional remote. The TitanTube ships without a power supply. Choose between an optional AC adapter and a PowerBox.

Control

  • The AsteraBox CRMX Transmitter Box from Astera acquires Bluetooth signal from the AsteraApp, then sends RF signals to the battery-powered light. The App lets you create complex colors, effects, and settings that will be remembered by the lights without a constant wireless link.Monitoring works while you control lights by the app and also if lights are controlled via DMX. Set DMX addresses and profiles for one light or several lights. Fifty units can be prepared in less than five minutes. After the job, a quick master reset of all settings and lights makes them ready for the next event.

    The AsteraBox works as a wireless 24 GHz DMX transmitter; just connect it with the included XLR adapter to your DMX console and you can transmit one DMX universe with the stable LumenRadio CRMX wireless protocol. The DMX module in Astera battery-powered PARs is compatible with CRMX and other wireless DMX standards, with the possible exceptions of W-DMX G5 and City Theatrical.

    Simple commands like on/off, colors, preloaded effects, etc., can also be sent directly to the lights with Astera’s infrared remote control. When programming lights with the AsteraApp, the IR remote can be used for confirming settings on individual lights. And AsteraBox CRMX has great monitoring capabilities enabling monitoring battery status, radio signal, DMX address, and which lights you have targeted. Diagnose individual lights and even get informed if a light is being moved or switched off.

  • The downloadable AsteraApp is an efficient way to quickly create a customized light show using your smart device. It can group several lights, address individual lights or groups of lights, and send complex effects with a user-defined color palette to all lights in the range.

Dynamic Power Boost

The dynamic power boost feature enables the light to display the maximum brightness at all times and intensify non-white colors.

Emergency Lights

It switches to white light when AC power is cut to keep your event safe.

Astera M5 Eyebolt for Ax1 Pixel, Helios, Titan and Hyperion Tubes (Pair)

This pair of M5 Eyebolts for Ax1 Pixel, Helios, Titan and Hyperion Tubes from Astera screw into the tube and allow it to be suspended without a frame. They can also be used for suspending four tubes via safety wire.
